INTRODUCTION:
The Pakistan Security Printing Corporation (Private) Limited was established in 1949 for Printing of Strategically important documents. In 2017 Government of Pakistan separated Banknotes printing business from printing of other security products. PSPC was hived down to form a new company, wholly owned by Ministry of Finance the Government of Pakistan, and incorporated in Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) as the National Security Printing Company (Private) Limited (NSPC) in April 2017.
The NSPC has got the mandate of printing of all security products other than the banknotes and prize bonds. The NSPC will print wide range of documents including national identity cards, passports, motor vehicle registration books, arms licences, postal stamps, judicial stamps, non-judicial stamped papers, e-stamps, national awards, land revenue record forms, cheque books, Prime Minister’s and President’s stationery and degrees, certificates and transcripts of a number of universities, boards and other institutions. The NSPC has also been the printer of ballot papers and census forms.
The NSPC has the state-of-the-art printing facilities that are operated in an unmatched security environment. It produces an outstanding quality work with matchless authenticity ensured by the security features especially built in the paper, ink and printing that no other printer can arrange and provide. Also, in timely and safe delivery of its products to its customers, the NSPC has no parallel in Pakistan.
The NSPC is fully equipped with the state-of-the-art machinery and modern printing technological essentials with over 60 years of experience in the printing of very high-valued security documents earning ISO-9001-2000 and 14001-2004 Certifications.
DESIGNING
The designing of a security document is an art of combining features of paper, ink, design, numbering and printing techniques in such a way that it provides maximum deterrence against counterfeiting and forgery.
The experts in our Design Department, starting with a threat analysis, evaluate document life cycle and associated risks with varying levels of compromise to incorporate a balance of overt, semi-covert and covert security features to minimize the likelihood of counterfeiting or alteration.
Our Design Department is also equipped with the latest security software ONE which provides greater flexibility in design and allows ultimate control over document quality, integrity and security at all stages in the process.
TYPICAL ART WORKS :
The Rainbow tint, Relief tint, Duplex tint, Guilloche patterns, engraving, microlettering, fluorescent features, invisible images, latent image and see-through feature, etc. are the examples of art work continuously performed at the NSPC.
CARD MANUFACTURING:
With increase in awareness about pivotal role of base material in security of cards, the demand for Polycarbonate (PC) cards in increasing day by day. More and more users are switching to PC cards due to its longevity and higher security. At present there is no manufacturing facility in the county to cater the requirement of Polycarbonate (PC) Cards. A huge amount of foreign exchange drains out on import of these cards.
In order to provide end to end solution to its valuable customers such as NADRA and DGI&P, NSPC has taken responsibility of local manufacturing of PC cards. This card can be used for Smart CNIC, e-Data page in passport, Motor Vehicle Registration Card, Driving Licence and Arm Licence
